Around. Circles.
Printmaking is a ritualistic activity. On a typical studio day, sequences of action create a cyclical structure. I walk down to my studio, put on an apron and assess where I am with work in progress. I look over prints from previous days, release the most recent prints from the drying press, and confirm that the physical space is organized so I can be attentive to the work at hand. And I start again.
